Material properties of sintered stones

2024-06-14

1. Bigger, lighter, thinner

It can be made into ultra-large specifications with extremely thin thickness of 3600*1200*3mm, reducing the gaps in the splicing of space materials; the average weight of traditional tiles is 23~27kgs/㎡, while the average weight of ultra-thin sintered stones is only 7kgs/㎡.

2. High hardness, impact resistance, and strong wear resistance.

The sintered stones generated by high temperature and high pressure have a Mohs hardness of more than 6. The scratch resistance and wear resistance can be directly tested with a steel knife. It is known as the "Wolverine in the building materials industry"; the strong corrosion resistance of sintered stones can also be used for acid and alkali laboratory countertops, hospital antibacterial walls and operating countertops and other places with high requirements

Mohs hardness uses the scratch method. The surface of the tested mineral is scratched by a pyramidal diamond drill needle. Mohs hardness is usually used in mineralogy or gemology. The depth of the scratch measured is divided into 1~10 levels to indicate the hardness, from left to right.

3. High temperature resistance, anti-penetration, acid and alkali corrosion resistance.

The fire resistance coefficient of the rock board reaches A1 level of non-flammability, with a high safety factor and a water absorption rate as low as 0.06%. The product does not deform or fade. It is almost unaffected by changes in external temperature.

4. Anti-fouling and more anti-slip

It is made by high-temperature firing, the surface is fully ceramicized, combined with nano-level anti-fouling treatment, and improves the anti-slip performance of traditional tiles.

5. Energy saving and low carbon, safe and zero radiation.

Compared with traditional tiles, it saves more than 60% of raw material resources, reduces comprehensive energy consumption by more than 50%, reduces exhaust emissions by more than 80%, is non-toxic and non-radiative, and can be in direct contact with food.

6. Easy to cut and install

It is easy to cut into different specifications and reassemble into different paving forms, which can save more labor costs and time costs. There are multiple paving construction methods, which effectively shortens the construction period.

7. Strong decorativeness and high space utilization

It has larger specifications, rich colors, and a higher degree of simulation of various natural materials in texture.

It is thinner than ceramic tile sintered stones, which maximizes the utilization of space resources.
